Tourist Attractions in Cornwall
Cornwall has something to offer all the family - nomatter what their age or tastes. From old castles, fabulous beaches, museums, art galleries or botanical gardens, there's something to interest everyone.
There's no point listing every single one here, as the information is available on other much larger specialist websites, but we'd just like to recommend one or two places, and then give you the links to the other sites so you can see the full range of what's on offer.
Our recommendations
- Paradise Park Wildlife Sanctuary, Hayle, Nr St Ives, Cornwall. - Paradise Park is famous for breeding rare species, is home to the World Parrot Trust charity and was twice Cornwall's Family Attraction of the Year, as chosen by the independent 'Good Britain Guide'
- St. Michael's Mount, Marazion, Penzance, TR17 0EF. - This outcrop, cut off from the mainland at high water, has a church, a medieval castle (home of the St. Aubyn family for over 300 years), exotic gardens, and an ancient harbour.
- Eden Project, Bodelva, St. Austell, Cornwall, PL24 2SG - The world famous Eden project is a full tour of all of the climates of the world. Biodomes tailor the internal microclimate to provide ideal conditions for plants found in humid south american rainforests, or warm dry temperate zones.
